Paradigm Parachute and Defense is proud to announce the launch of the most advanced altimeter to date, a rugged, wrist-mounted smart display built specifically for the needs of today’s tactical parachutist.
Designed for military-grade performance and adaptability, the Paradigm altimeter combines the latest in digital intelligence with user-first design. Featuring a full-color display, the device can be reprogrammed for specific user groups if needed. Additionally, it supports both digital and hybrid analog display styles, with rapid switching between daylight and night vision optics-optimized modes. Whether in aircraft, freefall, or under canopy, the altimeter intelligently detects flight condition, adjusting its interface and available features.
Paradigm’s newest innovation offers a full suite of real time operational data, including rate of descent, current atmospheric pressure, alerts for supplemental oxygen requirements, and real-time estimates of time-to-ground.
Designed for durability and performance, this device features a rugged aluminum and high-strength polymer housing, making it ideal for demanding environments. It operates reliably from -1,500 to over 35,000 feet MSL and is powered by a field-replaceable CR123A battery with self-calibrating sensors. The fully customizable display provides real-time flight data and is compatible with both daylight and night vision optics. It’s water-resistant up to 3 meters for 30 minutes and includes a real-time clock to generate detailed, time-and date-stamped jump logs, capturing exit and pull altitude, descent speed, and flight phase durations. Users can also tailor the language and display interface to suit their specific operational needs.
